Vasyl’ Stepanovych Ryzhyi
Education:
He graduated from the fine arts - graphics faculty at the Odessa pedagogical institute named after Mr. К. D. Ushyns’ky.
Work experience and former projects:
He is a ceramics and pottery teacher at the «The heritage» Ladyzhyn inter-school educational-industrial center of the art and folk crafts. Since 1998, he is an active participant at the regional, all-Ukrainian and international exhibits, business-meetings, art events. He is an author of the personal exhibits. He is a member of the «The Stozhary (a stars group in the Taurus constellation in the sky)» literary-art union in the Town of Ladyzhyn. He is more known as a ceramics-maker, but he thinks that the painting is an integral part of his creative life. He gives a preference to the paintings, which have been created during the art business-meetings with the other painters. Since 2011, he is a teacher at the Tul’chyn professional college of the culture. He is a Podillya folk ceramics researcher. He is an active participant at the «The Bar ceramics traditions revival v.2.0» project, which is supported by the Ukraine culture foundation in 2021.
