The theme of pottery in the song folklore of Podillya

From ancient times, Ukrainians are accustomed to accompany their work with a song. It glorified the beauty of nature, important events, human destinies, their experiences. Very often in folk songs we find mentions of artisans, their work, skill in work. However, potters and pottery in the song folklore of Vinnytsia - a topic currently unexplored. The project "Revival of traditions of Bar ceramics v.2.0" actively drew attention to this issue in the artistic space of our region. Within the framework of the project more than 4000 samples of lyrics of Vinnytsia region were investigated.
