The Krakiv national folk museum
The Krakiv national folk museum – the oldest and biggest museum in Poland, which has the “national” status. It was founded by the Krakiv’s city council’s decree in 1879. Before the World War I, it was the only big museum to be open for the visitors in Poland. It has a biggest number of the constantly functioning exhibition galleries, collections, and buildings. The collections, which are under the museum’s guardianship, have above the 900 thousand exhibits. The museum’s mission is focused on the popularization of the Polish and foreign arts. The Bar’s ceramic products by the potters-masters are present in the museum funds.
