The Mr. M. P. Stel’makh writer’s literary-memorial museum at the village of Dyakivtsy

Mr. Mykhailo Panasovych Stel’makh, who, first of all, became known as a literary expert in the field of the nature of a general man’s soul, was born in the Village of Dyakivtsi in 1912. The museum is open at the motherland of the Ukrainian famous outstanding writer in the specially constructed building in 1989. At the first floor, there are the library and the reading hall. At the second floor, there are the six exposition-halls and the writer’s memorial cabinet from his suburban cottage in the Town of Irpen’. In the collection, the writer’s personal belongings, documents, photographs, film materials, books and furniture from his private library are present. In total, the museum funds have above 600 items. At the ethnology exhibition-hall, there are the different exhibits, which belong to the Bar ceramics samples. A unique painted bowl with the traditional Bar’s bird at the tree branch with the white background, which was used by Mr. M. P. Stel’makh - as it is known from the peoples words, can be considered as a pearl of the collection! Address: Mr. M. P.
